Property Description

Simcoe Mountain Reserve: 535+/- acres of private mountain land in one rare offering. High in the Simcoe Mountains north of Goldendale, near the crest of the range, the Reserve brings together three large parcels for the buyer who wants it all. Lot 1 (176+/- ac) is the westernmost parcel, with big views to the south. Lots 2 (189+/- ac) and 3 (170+/- ac) are heavily timbered. Together they create a sweeping block of timber and sloped, wooded terrain, surrounded by private timberland that is closed to public hunting. The forested upper slopes of the Simcoes are home to mule deer, elk, black bear, and wild turkey, and Klickitat County is known for its big game and upland bird hunting. Hunters get more than 500 acres of private ground to scout and hunt. Off-grid buyers get true seclusion: no utility lines, no crowds, just timber, wildlife, and the dark skies Goldendale is known for. Zoned Forest Resource (FR). Topographic and aerial maps are available. Each lot is also listed individually, but the chance to own the full Reserve in one purchase does not come along often. Opportunities of this size are few and far between. Come walk the land.
